How do I access a deceased person's account?

If an individual has passed away and you need access to the contents of his/her account containing backed up files, then in some cases we may be able to provide the account content to an authorized representative of the deceased user.

We extend our condolences and appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process.

Online Vault is keen on user's account security.

We are aware of the trust users place in us, and we take our responsibility to protect the privacy of people who use Online Vault services very seriously.

Any decision to provide the contents of a deceased user’s account will be made only after a careful review and verification of information and documentation provided.

We require the following information:

  1. Your full name
  2. Your physical mailing address
  3. Your email address and telephone number to contact you
  4. A photocopy of your government-issued ID or driver’s license
  5. The email address or first and last name the deceased customer used to sign up for Online Vault, and other information as requested
  6. Power of attorney or equivalent

Please put any such requests in writing, including a short description of your request and the reasons for it, then mail or fax your request and supporting documentation (as enumerated above) to:
